Criteria for Evaluating Proposals for ARPA Funding in Guilford

Individual or Small Business Proposal

Does the proposal:

Address one or more of the four qualifying criteria?

Articulate the timelines of the COVID-19 impact on the individual or business?

Clearly explain the extent of financial loss during the pandemic and reveal present need?

Help the SB understand the impact of the loss?

Indicate the number of people impacted?

Address what recourse measures were employed?

Describe the amount of ARPA funds requested and how they would be used?

Indicate whether funding could be deferred to some point in 2026. When?

Indicate how many Guilfordites would benefit from the funding?

Indicate which Guilford demographics would benefit from the funding?

Indicate readiness for compliance with the application process, receipt of funds, and implementation?

Organizational or Town-wide Proposal

Does the proposal:

Address one or more of the four qualifying criteria?

Clearly explain the extent of financial loss during the pandemic and reveal present need? 

Indicate whether, when and for how long services were reduced or stopped?

Indicate the number of organization-related people were impacted directly?

Indicate the number of community members impacted, either directly or indirectly?

Describe the amount of ARPA funds requested and how they would be used?

Indicate how many Guilfordites would benefit from the funding?

Indicate which Guilford demographics would benefit from the funding?

Indicate readiness or compliance with the application process, receipt of funds, and implementation?
